Interclue for Firefox 1.2.3

We are pleased to announce the release of Interclue for Firefox 1.2.3, which focuses on optimizing usability and performance for users by helping them rapidly set several options at once to the ones most appropriate for people with:

  • Fast, slow, or average reaction times
  • Fast, slow, or average computers
  • Fast, slow, or expensive internet connections

Several small interface improvements, performance enhancements and bugfixes are also included.

New Features:

  • Added a new “Presets” option tab to allow for quick settings for common situations.
  • New button: “open link in new foreground* tab” (ie change focus to the new tab immediately)
  • Option to control when the link changes while you’re in pinned mode.

Tweaks

  • Tweaked the tutorial.
  • Wording changes in the feedback dialog and options tab.
  • Moved most images into combined image files to speed up load time.

Bugfixes:

  • Fixed a bug where favicons where not being pre-fetched correctly after pageload.
  • (Hopefully) Fixed error preventing the options dialog from loading on Ubuntu Feisty
  • Linkclues were not fading out without a mousemove.
  • Bugzilla cluescript wasn’t showing product/component/severity if user logged in.
  • Bugzilla cluescript now shows (edit) link in title if user logged in
  • Loading clues reset video playing on a page if the page contained certain css rules.
